Abstract

This study aims to determine student perceptions of the application of e-learning in the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at the Islamic University of Riau in the Academic Year of 2021/2022. This research is quantitative descriptive. This research method uses survey research methods. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. The population in this study were 146 people and used a saturated sample. The questionnaire distributed was in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 27 statement items. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that students' perceptions of the application of e-learning in the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at the Islamic University of Riau in the 2021/2022 academic year, obtained an average score of 72.03% in the good category. The highest sub-indicator regarding the discipline of completing tasks is included in the good category with a percentage gain of 78.16%. The lowest sub-indicator is in the medium category regarding interactive with fellow students and lecturers with a percentage gain of 65.34%.
