Abstract

In general, people say, the age of children is a golden age. And usually people say with the Golden Age. Elementary school age is the most ideal period to form these characters, because their brain development and motor intelligence have not been able to synchronize themselves without direction from educators. So as an educator, especially parents and teachers have a big homework in growing and shaping the character of children, especially the character of discipline. This study aims to describe how the implementation of character values in the pandemic era in elementary school students. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, where this research was carried out by direct observation at the research site. Data collection techniques in this study used observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The problems experienced by teachers include students rarely doing the assignments given by the teacher with their own efforts, in the sense that the tasks are done by parents, students prefer to rely on the internet in completing their assignments. When learning to shift at school, students bring the habit of playing at home to school. So the teacher stated that it was more difficult to reshape the character of students.
