Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION OF LIABILABLE HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THE POOR IN SIARANG-ARANG VILLAGE, PUJUD DISTRICT, ROKAN HILIR REGENCY Abstract By Sasmiani This study was to determine the implementation of the housing assistance program for the poor in Siarang-arang village, Pujud district, Rokan Hilir regency, the assessment indicators used in this study are the size and objectives of the policy, resources, attitudes and tendencies (disposition) of the implementers, communication between organizations and implementation activities, and the economic, social, and political environment. The type of quantitative descriptive survey research is using questionnaires as a data collection tool, and this questionnaire data is used as a tool to analyze, and for a sample population of 59 people, the sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling technique, the types and sources of data used are data primary and secondary data, data collection techniques used interviews, observation and documentation. In this study, it was found that in the implementation there was still a lack of socialization between the public housing and settlement areas office with the village and the community, thus causing a lack of public understanding about program implementation. So the researcher concludes that the implementation of the housing assistance program for the poor in Siarang-arang village, Pujud district, Rokan Hilir regency can be categorized as quite effective. For the sake of implementing this program properly, it is recommended that program implementers be more careful in data collection so that the program reaches people who are entitled to receive, and increase the quota for housing assistance.
