Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of Rice Husk Ash and Ultradap Fertilizer on the growth and production of long bean renek. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM. 11, No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. This study lasted for 4 months, starting from January - April 2021. This study used a completely randomized completely factorial design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is Rice Husk Ash (A) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 37.5, 75, 112.5 g and the second factor is Ultradap fertilizer (U) consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 5, 10, 15 g/plot so that 16 combinations are obtained. treatment with 3 replications, so there are 48 experimental plots. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods, pod length, pod weight and number of remaining pods. The data were statistically analyzed and followed by BNJ level 5%. The results showed that the interaction effect of rice husk ash and ultradap fertilizer had an effect on the parameters of the number of pods planted. Where the best treatment combination was rice husk ash 112.5 g/plant and ultradap fertilizer 15 g/plot (A3U3). The main effect of rice husk ash was on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, pod length, pod weight, and the number of remaining pods of 112.5 g/plant (A3). The main effect of Ultradap fertilizer on the parameters of flowering age, harvest age, pod weight, and the number of remaining pods was 15 g/plot (U3).
