Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reward and motivation on employee performance at Bank BRI Kotabaru Tembilahan Main Branch. Location of research at Bank BRI Kotabaru, Tembilahan Main Branch, which is located at Jalan Letda M. Boya No 4a Tembilahan Indragiri Hilir Riau. The population in this study amounted to 40 people, because the population was less than 100, the entire population was sampled with the saturated sampling method. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that reward and motivation either partially or simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance. Where in this study reward has the most dominant influence on employee performance. While reward and motivation can affect employee performance by 74% and the remaining 26% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study such as employee discipline, work environment, communication, workload and leadership.
