Abstract
Rubber is a leading commodity in the plantation subsector which continues to be the government's attention to be developed in an effort to improve a just rubber trading system. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of farmers and profiles of rubber farming in Muara Lembu Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, to analyze rubber production and marketing (marketing channels, marketing functions, marketing costs, marketing margins, marketing profits, marketing efficiency, farmer share) in Muara Village. Lembu, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research method is a survey in Muara Lembu Village. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. There were 30 rubber farmers and 17 collectors. The results showed that: the characteristics of rubber farmers in Muara Lembu Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, the average age of rubber farmers was 37 years old, most of the sex was male, the average education level was 15 years, the average experience of working on rubber was 3 year. The characteristics of rubber farming consisted of an average rubber plant age of 15 years, an average number of rubber trees of 2,199 stems and an average area of 2 ha of rubber trees. The average rubber farming production is 1230.6 kg / month. BOKAR's marketing channels in Muara Lembu Village are from farmers to collectors and forwarded to factories. The function of the marketing agency is as a physical exchange as well as a facility. The marketing cost for BOKAR in Muara Lembu Village is Rp. 246,323. The marketing margin for BOKAR in Muara Lembu Village was Rp. 4,466,048. The profit from BOKAR marketing in Muara Lembu Village is Rp. 4,219,726 from farmer to trader, while from trader to factory it has a profit of Rp. 15,462,546. BOKAR marketing efficiency in Muara Lembu Village is 22.41%. The Farmer Share obtained from BOKAR marketing in Muara Lembu Village was 77.59%.
