Abstract

Implementation is as efforts made to carry out all plans and policies that have been formulated and determined by completing all the necessary tools, who will carry out it, where the implementation is and when the time is. Parking is a condition where the vehicle stops or does not move for a while and is abandoned by the driver. Parking space is a place provided for public parking including road bodies, shop yards, tourist attractions and environmental yards or buildings that have been determined by the city government as public facilities for parking. UPTD Parkir is the Technical Implementation Unit of the Service which is in charge of overseeing the implementation of parking. In this study, the benchmarks in implementing the UPTD Parking duties in controlling parking in the city of Pekanbaru are coordinating parking systems and procedures in various areas in the city of Pekanbaru, maintaining order and smooth traffic in the parking area, coordinating levy collection mechanisms and coordinating minimum service standards for activities. parking. The population in this study were the Head of the UPTD of Parking, Parking Operational Assistants, Parking attendants and the people of Pekanbaru city as parking service users. The sampling technique used for the Head of UPTD Perparkiran uses saturated sampling techniques and for Parking Operational Assistants, parking attendants and the community using incidental sampling techniques. Respondent data collection is done by distributing questionnaires, conducting interviews with informants, documentation and observations made in the field. Data analysis using the percentage technique to find out how many respondents answered that it was done, quite done and not done enough. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the research results of the Implementation of the Duties of the Office Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) for Parking Control in Pekanbaru City are in the "Enough Done" category.
