Abstract

THE EFFECT OF WORK LIFE BALANCE AND WORK ENGAGEMENT TO TURNOVER INTENTION OF IRNA NURSES IN RSUD KOTA DUMAI Aulia Miftahul Jannah 178110148 FAKULTAS PSIKOLOGI UNIVERSITAS ISLAM RIAU ABSTRACT The high rate of nurses turnover will be detrimental to the hospital, so it is necessary to pay attention to the intention turnover of nurses. Intention turnover of nurses can occur due to several factors, for example like the work life balance and work engagement. This study was conducted to find out the relationship between work life balance and work engagement to the intention turnover of nurses. Research data obtained by using work life balance scale, The Utrecth Work Engagement Scale 9 (UWES9) scale, and turnover intention scale. The population is the nurses Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Dumai with a total sample of 120 respondents. Researcher using parametric analysis to analysis the data with multiple regression method. The results of data analysis show that work life balance and work engagement simultaneously have a significant effect on the turnover intention (Fcount 25,128 with Sig 0,000<0,05). The results of partial analysis reveal that work life balance has a significant effect on the turnover intention in a negative direction (tcount -4,019 with Sig 0,000≤0,005) also work engagement has a significant effect on the turnover intention in a negative direction (tcount -3,516 with Sig 0,001>0,05) on The IRNA nurses of RSUD Kota Dumai
