Abstract

ABSTRACT Dwi Ayu Agustyn, 2021. Student Perceptions of the Implementation of Indonesian Language Learning during the Covid 19 Pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Kopar, Rokan Hilir Regency, for the 2021/2022 Academic Year 2 Students' perceptions of the implementation of Indonesian language learning are very necessary to show that the implementation of learning in the preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities has been carried out well or not, as phenomena that are seen are still obstacles in the implementation of Indonesian online learning in accordance with the expectations and provisions set forth. apply so that the implementation of learning is not fully maximized. The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze and interpret students' perceptions of the implementation of Indonesian language learning in preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities during the covid 19 pandemic at SMAN 1 Rantau Kopar. This type of research is field research with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were students of class X with a total of 72 students. The sampling technique used was the saturated sample technique so that the sample in this study was 72 students. Data collection techniques using observation, and questionnaires. Data analysis uses quantitative data using the percentage formula. The result of this research is that the implementation of Indonesian language learning in the preliminary activities of student perceptions reaches an average of 60%, meaning that the implementation of learning is in the fairly good category, while in the core activities the average percentage of students' perceptions reaches 63%, while in closing activities the perceptions of students reach an average of an average of 62% with good category. The conclusion of the study is that the results of students' perceptions of the implementation of Indonesian language learning are classified as good with an average score of only 62.1%. Suggestions that can be given in this study are that it is hoped that Indonesian language teachers can further improve their abilities and professionalism in teaching, especially in the implementation of learning
