Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) with a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the subject matter of the size of the concentration and distribution of data in class VIII SMPN 1 Rengat Barat which has been tested for validity. This research on the development of mathematics learning tools uses a 4-D model that has been modified into 3 stages, namely: 1) Define, 2) Design, and 3) Development. The data collection instruments used were the RPP validation questionnaire sheet and the LKPD validation questionnaire sheet. The data collection technique used was non-test with a validation questionnaire from 2 lecturers of mathematics education at FKIP UIR and 2 mathematics teachers at SMPN 1 Rengat Barat. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the average value of RPP validation was 88.73% with a very valid category, while the validation in terms of RPP aspects obtained an average value of 89.24% with a very valid category. The results of the analysis of the average validation of the LKPD were 87.5% with a very valid validation level, while the validation in terms of aspects obtained an average value of 87.98% with a very valid category. Based on this research, it was obtained that mathematics learning tools with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the subject matter of the size of the concentration and distribution of data in class VIII of SMPN 1 Rengat Barat were tested for validity.
