Abstract

The development model used in this research is R&D. The results of the research in the field there is some information that at SMA YLPI Pekanbaru has never used the guided discovery method in carrying out the learning process, especially on three-dimensional material in class XII SMA. This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) by using the Guided Discovery method on three- dimensional material in class XII SMA which has been tested for validity and practicality. The stages carried out in this study are only 6 The only stages are: (1) Potential & problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, (5) Design revision, (6) Final product. The data collection instruments used were RPP validation sheets, LKPD validation sheets, practicality sheets (teachers' responses) to RPP, and Practicality sheets (teachers' responses) to LKPDs. The data collection technique used is data from 2 lecturers of mathematics education at FKIP UIR and 1 mathematics teacher at YLPI Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique used by the researcher is validation and practicality data analysis. The results obtained from the results of the RPP validation are 94.32% with a very valid validation level and the LKPD validation results are 91.65% with a very valid validation level. While the results obtained from the practicality of the teacher's response to the lesson plan are 85.71% with a very practical level of practicality and the result of the practicality of the teacher's response to the LKPD is 84.02% with a practical level of practicality. Based on the results obtained in this study, a mathematics learning device using the guided discovery method on three-dimensional material in class XII SMA was tested for its validity and practicality.
