Interrogative speech can be seen from the aspect of form and function. In line with this, the speech of the webinar participants was also studied from the aspect of politeness principles. The problems studied in this study are: (1) interrogative speech forms. (2) interrogative speech function, and (3) the use of the maxim of politeness principles in each interrogative function in the educational webinar activity "The Role of Teachers in Developing Distance Learning Responding to the New Normal #1" on Youtube. (3) out of 60 speech data, the maxim of politeness principle is mostly found in wisdom maxim which is 44 speech data. 28 of the utterances violate the maxim of wisdom and 16 other data meet the maxim of wisdom.
