Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of arm muscle power to the upper serve ability of female players at the Valheska Club Kecamatan Singingi Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. The type of this research is correlation. The population in this research were the female players of the Valheska club Kecamatan Singingi Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi, totaling 12 people, the sampling technique used was total sampling so that the sample in this study amounted to 12 people. The research instrument used was an overhead medicine ballthrow test and a service test on volleyball. The data analysis technique used is the correlation value test and calculate the contribution value. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a contribution of arm muscle power to the upper service ability of the female players of the Valheska Club Kecamatan Singingi Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi by 38.32% with rcount = 0.619 > rtable = 0.576
