Abstract
This study aims to improve student motivation and learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Lebong Utara. This research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles, two meetings and one repetition and several stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The application of the braintoming method can increase students' motivation and learning outcomes from the brointoming method previously implemented, cycle 1 to cycle 2. Student learning outcomes have increased from cycle I to cycle II, in cycle I the average grade of 67.03 where students who have achieved KKM is 23 students. In the second cycle the average value of the class is 72.86, students who have reached the KKM are as many as 30 students.
