Abstract

Aprinaldi (154110348) Effect of Kepok Banana Peel Bokashi Fertilizer and 16:16:16 NPK Fertilizer on Growth and Production of Lalap Eggplant (Solanum melongena L) on Peat Soil. This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km. 11 No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research has been carried out for 4 from August to November 2020 (Appendix 1). The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the interaction of banana peel bokashi and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer on the growth and production of fresh eggplant. The experimental design used was a completely randomized factorial design. The first factor is Banana Peel Bokashi (B) which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 250, 500 and 750 g/plant, the second factor is NPK 16:16:16 (N) fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 5 , 10 and 15 g/plant, so that 16 treatment combinations were obtained which were then repeated 3 times, so that the total number of plots reached 48 plots. Each plot consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants were sampled, resulting in a total of 192 plants. Observational parameters observed were: plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted, weight of fruit per fruit and number of remaining fruit. The data were analyzed statistically if the calculated F is greater than the F table, then continued with the further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the level of 5%. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that: The interaction of banana peel bokashi and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer is significant for all observation parameters. The best treatment dose of bokashi banana peel was 750 g/plant and NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 15 g/plant. The main effect of banana peel bokashi dose was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment dose of banana peel bokashi is 750 g/plant. The main effect of the dose of NPK 16:16:16 was significant for all observation parameters, where the best treatment was the dose of NPK 16:16:16 15 g/plant.
