Abstract

The development of fruit agribusiness in Riau has good prospects seen from the large market potential. The purpose of this research is to analyze the business profile, to analyze the feasibility of farming business, to analyze the market feasibility, to analyze the financial feasibility of the jade rose apple business at (he company CV.Radella Multi Agra in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The method used in this research is survey to business area. The research was conducted in Pekanbaru City, to be precise in the business of jade rose apple at CV. Radella Multi Agri. The determination of the area of this research was carried out with the consideration that the location is one of the centers of jade rose apple production in Pekanbaru City which is considered modern. The data collected in this study came from primary- data and secondary data. Primary data taken include: jade rose apple varieties, land area, capital, amount of production, use of production inputs and prices as well as other related matters. Secondary data obtained from related agencies, which are deemed necessary to support this research include: Data on export and import ofjade rose apple, demand for jade rose apple . geographical conditions of the study area, population, education level of ihe population, and the socioeconomic condition of the local population, and then analyzed using investment feasibility analysis tools. The results showed that in terms of the market aspect. RMA ’s jade rose apple has the potential to continue to he developed or produced to meet consumer needs. In addition, the potential market demand that is still fulfilled is 94.70% and as much as 5.3% has not been fulfilled, meaning that there is still a chance to continue developing jade rose apple. Viewed from the aspect offinancial feasibility, the NPV value obtained is Rp. 675.433,798.85. The Net B/Cvalue is 3.39 and the IRR value is 44.25%! with a return on investment for 3.39years.The 1RR value obtained is greater than the current savings interest rate in the study location, which means that jade rose apple farm is feasible. Meanwhile. the Net B/C ratio of 3.39 means that for every' one rupiah invested or spent, each will provide benefits of Rp. 3.39 or in other words., the benefits obtained are 3.39 limes the costs incurred. The sensitivity analysis shows that the decline in production is more sensitive than operational costs.
