Abstract
The research entitled "The Growth and Yield Response of Soybean (Glycine max L.) to Guano Fertilizer and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 was supervised by Dr. Ir. Hj. Siti Zahrah, MP and Mr. M. Nur, SP, MP. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution KM 11, Airingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. Conducted for 4 months starting from November 2019 to February 2020. The purpose of this study was clear to determine the interaction effect and the main growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max L.) on guano fertilizer and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16. The design used in the study was a completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor was guano fertilizer with a dose of 0, 550, 1,100, 1,650 g / plot, while the second factor was NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 with a dose of 0, 11, 22, 33 g / plot. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), flowering age (days), harvest age (days), percentage of flowers to pods (%), percentage of pithy pods planted (%), weight of seeds planted (g), number of pods planted (fruit ), weight of 100 dry seeds (g), harvest index. The last observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ further test at the 5% level. The results showed that guano fertilizer and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 had a significant effect on plant height, flowering age, harvesting age, percentage of flower pods, percentage of pithy pods, weight of seeds per plant, number of pods per plant, weight of 100 dry seeds. The best treatment combination was giving guano fertilizer 1,100 g / plot and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 33 g / plot. The main effect of guano fertilizer was significant on plant height, flowering age, harvesting age, percentage of flowers to pods, percentage of pithy pods planted, weight of seeds planted, number of pods planted, weight of 100 dry seeds. Best treatment at (1,100 g / plot). The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 is significant for all parameters. Best treatment at (33 g / plot).
