Abstract
This study is motivated by the low achievement of students in imitatiang the angels of Allah in learning Islamic Studies. This study aims to investigate the effect of the question and answer method on students’ achievements in learning Islamic Studies at SMPN 7 Kandis in Siak Regency. This is a quantitative correlational study. The subject of the study is all students in grade VII at SMPN 7 Kandis, Siak Regency. The population of the study consists of 64 students. The study has two variables, the Question and Answer Method (variable X) and the Learning Achievement by imitating the angels of Allah (variable Y). The results of the study show that the level of mastery of the question and answer method at SMPN 7 is 69.05% with a high category, while the learning achievement at SMPN 7 Kandis is 78.59% with a high category, it means that there is an effect of question and answer method on students’ achievements in learning Islamic Studies. It can be seen from the simple regression analysis that the significance value is less than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05. It means that the level of influence of the Question and Answer Method (variable X) has a contribution of 70.6% to students’ achievements in learning Islamic Studies (variable Y) or it is acceptable. While the remaining 29.4% is the influenced by other variables which is not examined in this study. In conclusion, the influence of the Question and Answer Method on the students’ Achievement in learning Islamic Studies at SMPN 7 Kandis in Kandis District is "strong".
