Abstract

ANALYSIS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF PUBLIC SERVICE SUPERVISION AT THE OMBUDSMAN OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PROVINCE OF RIAU ABSTRACT By MUHAMMAD RIVALDI APRILIANSYAH (177110482) This research was conducted at the Office of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of the Province of Riau. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the implementation of public service supervision in the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of Riau Province. The indicators used include Standard Setting, Reporting, Performance Evaluation in Accordance with Standards, Corrective Actions. The research method used is a quantitative and qualitative approach in the form of descriptive analysis by describing a situation based on existing data and facts from various sources and connecting social phenomena and tracing all facts related to the Analysis of the Implementation of Public Service Supervision at the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia. Indonesia Representative of Riau Province. The sample of respondents in this study consisted of 1 Head of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of the Riau Province, 1 Head of Report Receipt and Verification Assistant, 1 Head of Prevention Assistant, 10 Employees, and 20 Pekanbaru City people as informant. From the results of research on each of the sub-indicators, the conclusion of the Implementation of Public Service Supervision at the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of the Riau Province is categorized as Good Enough in the sense that there are still some that should be more considered and improved in accordance with established standards, such as completing reports according to the time period established, socializing the existence of the Riau Province Representative Ombudsman to the public, sufficient human resources are also needed to carry out their duties and functions as a public service supervisory agency and prevent maladministration, as well as an adequate budget for tasks and functions assigned to the Riau Province Representative Ombudsman and can also improve regulations and strict sanctions so that public service providers are more afraid to take maladministration actions.
