Abstract

QUALITY OF SERVICE FOR MAKING IDENTITY CARDS (EKTP) AT THE DEPARTMENT OF POPULATION AND CIVIL REGISTRATION OF KAMPAR REGENCY ABSTRACT Public service is one of the things that has received a lot of criticims and attention from the publik because so far it has started from the old order and the new order, even now it has felt its interests neglected by the bureaucracy, in other words during that time public services have never been good. The purpose of this research is to find out how the service for making identity cards at the population and civil registration services. This study used qualitative research methods. As for the uni research indicators, tangibels, reliability, responsive, assurance and empathy. This research was conducted at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Kampar Regency. Statistics collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The technique of determining informants is carried out using purpose sampling, namely the method of determining the informants deliberately based on certain criteria or consideration. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that the quality of service for making identity cards (ektp) at the Department Registration of Kampar Regency is that it can be said that it has not been maximal with that the society expects this is due to several things, namely the network and availability of forms.
