Communication plays an important role in the development of Covid-19 information, then good and effective communication can combat Covid-19 misinformation. One of the determining factors for the success of what you want to convey or what the goal is is the importance of communication planning. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Techniques for gathering data include interviews and documentation. This research’s data was collected from both primary and secondary data. The Cultip and Center communication planning model serves as the foundation for this thesis. This research included 5 informants. As according to findings of this research, the Riau Province Diskominfotik's communication planning in disseminating information on Covid-19 is caried out by finding facts, selecting the Covid-19 information dissemination team, determining a spokesperson, designing message development, special and persuasive government strategies. Covid-19 information communication is disseminated through website-based communication, streaming broadcast media-based communication, community communities, social media-based communication, and regional devices. Support from the government and government partners, collaboration with Riau local media, and collaboration with Health Workers, the Indonesian National Armed Forces, and the Indonesian National Police are all important factors in the dissemination of Covid-19 information. The obstacles are a lack of public awareness, the preparation of messages which does not include educational literacy, and a lack of human resources as information providers.
