Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF QUESTIONING ACTIVENESS ON STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENT IN LEARNING ISLAMIC STUDIES AT SMPN 6 SIAK HULU PUTRI SAKINAH 17241059 This study is motivated by the low learning achievement of students at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu. Every student should have good learning achievement, because learning achievement is an important thing to achieve success, especially in education. The problem formulation of this study: how is the influence of questioning activeness on students’ achievement in learning Islamic Studies at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of questioning activeness on students’ achievement in learning Islamic Studies at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu. The type of this study is quantitative research with a correlation approach. The sampling technique used is a proportionate Startified Random Sampling, that is the determination of the sample based on the level. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study show that the hypothesis stating that there is an influence of questioning activeness on learning achievement is accepted with a significance value of 0.000. The influence of questioning activeness on learning achievement is quite strong (0.267 or 26.7%). It can be predicted that if the influence of questioning activeness is increased, then it will increase the learning achievement by 0.267 or 26.7%. So, the results of this study can be concluded that there is an influence of questioning activeness on students achievement in learning Islamic Studies at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu.
