Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF INQUIRY LEARNING STRATEGY ON ISLAMIC EDUCATION LESSON ACHIEVEMENT AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2 MINAS DINA MARLISA 172410088 This research was motivated by students’ less achievement in learning. Learning achievement was a process that showed by someone change. This change was a result of learning process could be seen in form of skill change, competence, habitual, and ending learning change. In improving students’ achievement, teacher should use appropriate learning strategy such as using inquiry learning strategy. The use of inquiry learning strategy in learning process would help students to get better achievement, and helped them to increase their ability in learning process. As a preliminary study, it got information that some students were not able to improve their achievement in Islamic education lesson. Based on that problem, researcher interested to conduct the research entitled “the influence of inquiry learning strategy on Islamic education lesson achievement at senior high school 2 Minas�. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of inquiry learning strategy on Islamic education lesson achievement at senior high school 2 Minas. This research used two variables quantitative. The subject was students class X and XI at senior high school 2 Minas. The object was the influence of inquiry learning strategy on Islamic education lesson achievement at senior high school 2 Minas. The population in this research involved 37 students and it took sampling in 33 students. Data collection technique used questionnaire and documentation. Based on data analysis, it was known that there was any influence of inquiry learning strategy on Islamic education lesson achievement at senior high school 2 Minas. It was as a result from simple linear regression where significant score less than 0.05 where 0.000 < 0.05. it could be explained that the hypothesis was accepted. It meant that the influence of inquiry learning strategy on Islamic education lesson achievement at senior high school 2 Minas.
