Abstract
ABSTRACT This research was conducted in Selat Panjang City. In connection with this research, whicch becomes the object of the Shoe Shop Business in Selatt Panjang City. The problem that is studied in this research is whether the application or application of accounting by shoe shop entrepreneurs is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. The purpose of carrying out this research is to determine whether the accounting application made by shoe shop entrepreneurs is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting in conducting their business. The data collected in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, structured interviews, observation, and documentation, then after the data is obtained then the data is analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the animal feed business in Selat Panjang City is not in accordance with the basic concept of accounting.
