Abstract

Based on this research, it can be concluded that the song Koba Panglimo Awang is a song that has an implied meaning that is very useful for everyday life and has been around for a long time and does not know who its creator should be preserved by the local government so that this Koba Panglimo Awang song is not lost to the times. First, the Koba Panglimo Awangini song is a one-part song. In general, the song form of the Koba Panglimo Awang song is introduction-Ainterlude-A-Coda. Furthermore, the melody pattern in the Koba Panglimo Awang Song is monotonous or played repeatedly. The form of music in the Koba Panglimo Awang Song can be said to be only a complement or a tempo regulator on this Koba Panglimo Awang song. And the instruments used in the Gong.Timbre instrument or the sound color used in the Koba Panglimo Awangini song are Tenor and Sopran which means the high voice of men and high voices of women who are in the 3 octave tone region. The tempo used in the Koba Panglimo Awang song is Moderato tempo which means Medium. And the Koba Panglimo Awang song is played with a loud f (forte) which can happen spontaneously played by the singer of the song himself. This is in accordance with the results of interviews conducted with the speakers, at the beginning of the song Koba Panglimo Awang was sung aloud or forte.
