Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes in the basic techniques of under-passing demonstration methods in Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kanan. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The form of this research in classroom actiom research. The subjects in this study were Class VIII 1 SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kanan of 28 students. Data collection techniques are through initial tets of students’ of level of mastery learning written in tables and diagrams. In the first cycle there were 12 students (42,86%) who completed and the second cycle increased to 25 students (89,29%) who completed. This matter in that learning by using demonstration method at student of SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kanan is successfully evaluated from student learning completeness. Based on the data obtained, the conclusion is that the demonstration method can improve the basic techniques of passing under students in class VIII 1 1 SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kanan, Siak Regency.
