Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of Traffic Violations by Online Ojek Drivers in Pekanbaru City. The type of research located in Pekanbaru City is this type of research in the form of descriptive, in which researchers want to dig deeper, how are the forms of traffic violations by online motorcycle taxi drivers in the Pekanbaru City area. Then this research is explained in a narrative manner using visuals (photography) where the data obtained through the results of researchers in the field (observation). The informants of this research are the Police and online motorcycle taxi drivers. The sampling technique is purposive and snowball, the collection technique is triangulation (combined), the data analysis is qualitative, and the research results emphasize generalization. To obtain solid information and analysis, this research uses a visual methodology, this method was chosen after examining visual research, visual research is divided into three point of view areas that can be taken by researchers. The types and techniques of data collection used in this study consisted of primary data collected using interviews and secondary data using observational techniques and using various literatures. Based on the results of the discussions that have been presented in previous chapters, the research entitled Traffic Violations by Online Ojek Drivers in Pekanbaru City can be concluded that the results of research in the field, the authors can conclude several important points regarding violations committed by online motorcycle taxi drivers, namely including: Breaking the traffic light, disobeying traffic signs, and using cell phones while driving.
