Abstract

Technological developments make some people use it wrong, one of which is often the case among teenagers, namely Video Call Sex. This deviation violates the norms that exist in the midst of society. Informants and key informants in this study consisted of three female students with the initials X, Y and Z as key-informants, then interviews were conducted with criminal law experts to dig up information about video call sex itself. The data needed in this study were collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique of this study used descriptive analysis techniques on qualitative data. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the background of the perpetrator itself can affect the pattern of behavior that causes a person to become deviant. There are several factors that influence a person to become a perpetrator of a sex video call, such as economic factors where the economic needs of the perpetrator have an impact so that the perpetrator looks for alternative ways to get money, then followed by family factors where the perpetrator's family pays less attention to it so that the perpetrator can perform deviant behavior, then the third is the social factor in which deviant associations will make a person deviate. In the case of video calling sex, these three factors have a negative impact on themselves, such as if other people know that they are making video calls sex will be viewed badly and can be ostracized by society.
