Abstract

STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF E-LEARNING-BASED BIOLOGY LEARNING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK AT SMA NEGERI 1 KAMPAR KIRI HILIR KABUPATEN KAMPAR ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021 DITA SAFITRI NPM. 176510797 Thesis of Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Riau Islamic University Supervisor: Mellisa, S.Pd.,M.Pd ABSTRACT This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the implementation of biology learning in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Kiri Hilir, Kampar Regency, for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 73 students. This research is a quantitative research. The method used in this study is a survey method. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, observation sheets and documentation. The sample in this study was 73 students, taken from all students of class XI science. The distributed questionnaire consists of 25 statement items. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that students' perceptions of the implementation of E-learning-based biology learning in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Kiri Hilir, Kampar Regency, for the 2020/2021 academic year, gave a positive response which received an average score of 61.36%, included in the good category. The highest sub-indicator of learning media is in the good category with a percentage of 71.37%, many students can master learning applications well. While the lowest sub-indicator is in the teaching material sub-indicator which is in the sufficient category with a percentage of 54.41%, many students have difficulty understanding the material, less than optimal for mastering the material due to online learning.
