Abstract

The research is motivated by the rise and fall of income and consumers from UB CUT Barbershop Ujung Batu. One of the causes of the lack of income can be related to consumer satisfaction and also the competence of hair stylist UB CUT Barbershop. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the effect of Hair Stylist Competence on Consumer Satisfaction at UB CUT Barbershop in Ujung Batu District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The research method used is quantitative method and data collection is done by conducting survey research at UB CUT Barbershop. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, namely the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations for 40 people. Based on the research results, the competence of hair stylists is considered good by consumers in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes. In terms of satisfaction, consumers are also considered satisfied with UB CUT Barbershop which is measured on the aspect of overall satisfaction, recommending to other potential users and reuse of services by consumers. Based on the results of the regression analysis proves that the competence of the hairstylist has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction.
