Abstract

This research has been carried out in the Faculty experimental garden Riau Islamic University Agriculture, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11 No. 113 Marpoyan stop, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for 4 months from July to Month November 2019. The research objective was to determine the interaction and main effect of swallow droppings Bokashi and NPK 15:15:15 on growth and production of purple eggplant (Solanum Melongena L.). This experiment used a completely randomized design consisting of 2 factor, the first factor is giving bokashi swallow droppings with 4 levels, namely treatment 0; 0.7; 1.4 and 2.1 kg per plot. NPK fertilizer factor 15:15:15 with 4 treatment levels 0, 21, 42 and 63 grams per plot in order to obtain 16 combinations treatment, namely the parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits, weight of fruit planted, weight of fruit per fruit, number leftover fruit. The results showed the interaction between swallow dung bokashi and NPK 15:15:15 significantly affected the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age weight of fruit per fruit, weight of fruit per plant, except for the number of fruit Planting and the amount of residual fruit with the best treatment Bokashi swallow 2,1 kg / plot and NPK 15:15:15 42 g / plot. Main effect of dung Bokashi dosage real swallow against all observed meters, where the best treatment at 2.1 kg / plot while the main effect of NPK fertilizer 15:15:15 was significant all parameters with the best treatment were 42 g / plot.
