Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the occurrence of junior high school prostitution in the District of Rumbai, Pekanbaru City. The theory of prostitution of high school adolescents in Pekanbaru sub-district of Pekanbaru is associated with Hirschi's theory in 1969 in Generosity (2014: 12), namely Social Bond Theory or known as Social Control Theory. This type of research is a type of descriptive research. The research location in this study will be done by the Junior High School Children in the District of Rumbai, Pekanbaru City. In selecting the subject or informant of this research is to use a purposive procedure which is one of the strategies to determine the informant that is relevant to a particular research problem. This research data analysis technique will use descriptive analysis of qualitative data, which is trying to analyze by describing and explaining and describing clearly, accurately and as is in accordance with what is the object of research. Based on research results show that there are 4 factors that make adolescent perpetrators of prostitution committed crimes, namely (1) attachment or affection, adolescents do not get love and full supervision from their families, (2) Commitment or Responsibility where they are not entirely responsible responsible for themselves and their future, (3) Involvement or involvement, where adolescents are only involved in school activities and outside school as perpetrators of prostitution, and (4) Belief or Belief where adolescents know that they violate community norms but argue that they do not stop for family reasons and the environment in which they are supporting their actions as prostitution.
