Abstract

The problem in this research is that there are still many students who have not mastered the passing technique under volleyball. The purpose of this study was to improve the basic techniques of passing under the volleyball game of students through the game approach of eighth grade students of SMPN 10 Tapung. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a subject of 32 students. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the classical completeness value of 80% of students who get the KKM score of 75 is declared complete. From the results of data research in the first cycle there is completeness of students who have reached KKM 23 students with a percentage of 72%, who have not reached KKM as many as 9 students with 28%. Whereas in the second cycle research students who achieved KKM scores were 26 students with a percentage of 81%, and those who had not reached KKM were 6 students with a percentage of 19%. It can be concluded that there is an increase in the basic techniques of passing underneath through the game approach to the eighth grade students of SMPN 10 Tapung.
