Abstract

THE RELATION BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR AND THE APPEARANCE OF EMPLOYEE PT X AT PULAU BURUNG Fatin Fazira 178110238 FACULTY OF PSYCHOLOGY ISLA RIAU UNIVERSITY ABSTRACT Basically every company that is founded has the hope that one day it will experience rapid development in the business environment of the company and wants to create high performance in the field of work. Companies with high quality human resources (HR) are able to carry out organizational functions well so that they are able to achieve goals and increase company success. global. So that researchers are interested in examining the relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Employee Performance of PT X on Pulau Burung. This study aims to determine the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and the performance of employees of PT X in Pulau Burung. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The variables contained in this study are organizational citizenship behavior as the independent variable and employee performance as the dependent variable. This research was conducted on 12,000 employees of PT X in Pulau Burung and the number of samples taken was 400 employees using random sampling technique. The data collection instrument used two Likert model psychological scales, namely the organizational citizenship behavior scale and the individual work performance questionnaire scale. The data were analyzed using the Spermean's Rank correlation where the results used a correlation coefficient value of 0.128 with a significance of 0.05. From these results it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and employee performance at PT X on Pulau Burung. This means that the higher the organizational citizenship behavior, the better the employee performance, and vice versa, the lower the employee organizational citizenship behavior, the lower the employee performance at PT X in Burung Island.
