Abstract
Coordination is a management administration function that is concerned with efforts to direct, balance and harmonize community, group or organization activities so that they can be carried out more orderly, orderly, and smoothly efficiently and effectively. four indicators, namely, cooperation, division of labor, communication and discipline. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive (Sugiyono, 2012: 7-8). data collection techniques obtained by means of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The sampling technique is adjusted to the population. In this study the author uses the census technique. And in sampling for community respondents, the researcher uses the Slovin formula, Sugiyono (2012). In this study, the authors obtained a sample of 105 respondents, of which 9 people were civil servants and 96 community respondents. From the results of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation techniques, the implementation of Coordination in Community Empowerment Activities in the Great Malay Penghuluan has not run effectively or is categorized as quite implemented. There are still many things that need to be maximized from community empowerment in the Great Malay Penghuluan so that it can become a participatory and sustainable kepenghuluan and synergize development and community empowerment.
