Abstract
This research was carried out in Bangun Sari Village, Kampar Kiri Hilir District, Kampar Regency. The research intends to find out the appropriateness of the application of accounting in the Bangun Sari Village with General Acceptance Accounting Principles. Types of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data is directly obtained through an interview with the Treasurer of Bangun Sari Village regarding the recording process carried out in Bangun Sari Village. Secondary data is obtained through some documents relating to the Bangun Sari Village, for instance, the Village Vision and Mission, notebooks, and also village financial reports. Data collection techniques used by survey methods, namely by interview and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive. Based on the results of data analysis conducted, the conclusion drawn from the application of village financial accounting in Bangun Sari Village is not fully by General Acceptance Accounting Principles.
