Abstract

STUDENTS PERCEPTIONS ON ONLINE BIOLOGY LEARNING DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC CLASS XI IPA AT SMA N 1 TELUK KUANTAN ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021 DESTIKA SATIA NPM. 176510124 Biology Education Study Program Thesis Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau Supervisor: Dr. Hj. Sri Amnah, S.Pd., M.Si ABSTRACT This study aims to determine student’s perceptions of online biology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic clas XI IPA SMA N 1 Teluk Kuantan for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a quantitative research. The method used in this study is a survey method. Data was collected using observation, interviews and questionnaires. The sample in this study was 107 students, taken from class XI science students. The distributed questionnaire consists of 29 statement items. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that students perceptions of online Biology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic class XI IPA SMA N 1 Teluk Kuantan for the 2020/2021 academic year obtained an average score of 82,92% in the very good category. In the highest sub-indicator, open spending is includes in very good category with a percentage of 888,55%. While the lowest sub-indicator regarding giving assignments is in the good category with a percentage of 76,58%.
