Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the opportunities and challenges of Islamic banking in Indonesia in the competition ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by 2015. The opportunities and challenges of Islamic banking in ASEAN can be solved by cooperation and united not become competitors among Islamic banks with the hard efforts of the Islamic banking Indonesia in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Given the enormous opportunities for developing Islamic banking Indonesia and also to face the challenges for the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the Indonesian Islamic banking should be able to be facilitators of Islamic banking in ASEAN can work together and unite in carrying out various development strategies.
