Abstract
The purpose of this study was to detrmine the effect of risk based capital on the profitability of life insurance companies listed on the indonesian stock exchange. The population in this study is the financial statement of life insurance companies listed on the indonesia stock exchange in 2015-2019. The analytical technique used in this study is panel data regression which is used to test the hypotesis model statistically, as well as the extend to which the proposed model is consistent with the sample data. The result of the study show that risk based capital affects the profitability of life insurance companies listed on the indonesian stock exchange 2015-2019.
