Abstract

DISCIPLINE ANALYSIS OF CIVIL SERVANTS AT THE SENTAJO RAYA DISTRICT, KUANTAN SINGINGI REGENCY  The purpose of this study was to determine the discipline of civil servants at the Sentajo Raya sub-district office, Kuantan Singingi Regency and the obstacles faced in enforcing discipline at the Sentajo Raya sub-district office. The type of research that the author uses is qualitative with the source of information being determined, namely the Head of Sentajo Raya Sub-district, Head of Government Sub-Division, Head of the General Sub-Section. Sources of data obtained through primary and secondary data with data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. This study uses data analysis, namely by carrying out a qualitative approach, namely to uncover and resolve problems so that they can be understood and understood as a whole from the research, so that a clear picture can be obtained. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been described previously, it can be concluded that the discipline shown by employees in carrying out their duties and functions at the Sentajo Raya District Office, Kuantan Singingi Regency has not shown compliance with existing regulations. Disciplinary barriers for civil servants at the Sentajo Raya Sub-district Office are due to weak leadership in enforcing regulations and lack of communication between superiors and subordinates, limited supporting infrastructure and the presence of honorary staff who serve as places for job delegation, corrective actions from superiors who are still weak, and awareness of civil servants as servants low state.
