Abstract

ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS' DIFFICULTIES LEARNING BIOLOGY IN ONLINE LEARNING PROCESS AT SMAN 1 PANGKALAN KURAS 2020/2021 HERLINA SAFITRI NPM.176510211 Thesis of Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Science Education Riau Islamic University Supervisor: Tengku Idris, S.Pd.,M.Pd E-mail: herlinasafitri3998@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the difficulties in learning biology of students in online learning at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras TA 2020/2021, especially for class XI and XII science. This research is a descriptive research using survey method. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The sample in this study was 100 students, taken from Class XI and XII IPA students consisting of 25 statement items. Of the 100 students are divided stratified based on the student network. The indicators of technical obstacles that affect signals and inability in online learning are in a fairly high category with a percentage of 66.83%, indicators of doing learning, sharing it through interactions, assignments, teaching materials and media in online learning in a fairly high category with a percentage of 67. 27%, and the Stakeholder indicator that helps the government, schools and parents in online learning is in the fairly high category with a percentage of 73.53%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that students' learning difficulties in online learning at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras FY 2020/2021 were in the fairly high category with a percentage of 69.33%.
