Abstract

Water is one of the basic needs for the survival of living things, but in the area around the Rectorate, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, there are obstacles when looking for water drilling points. So it becomes a very important problem around the location. This research was conducted to determine the distribution of the resistivity values of the groundwater constituent layers and their depths so as to make it easier to obtain suitable groundwater. Research on groundwater is carried out using the geoelectric method as the main data and drilling data as the supporting data. From the results of geoelectrical data analysis, track 1 which has an aquifer layer at a resistivity value of 365–1237 m at a depth of 2.5–17.5 meters is interpreted as clay deposits, at a resistivity value of 3568– 22345 m at a depth of 17.5–30 meters it is interpreted as silt deposits, at a resistivity value of 34765–143256 m at a depth of 36.5–42.5 meters are interpreted as sand deposits. On track 2 which has the potential as an aquifer layer with a resistivity value of 22.4–764 m at a depth of 3–20 meters it is interpreted as silt deposits and at a resistivity value of 764–2436 m at a depth of 2–10 meters it is interpreted as clay deposits, and at a resistivity value of 2436-87532 m at a depth of 25–73 meters which is indicated as a potential aquifer containing groundwater. In the data analysis of the drilled wells, the results obtained clear water color, taste parameters with a 100% fresh percentage, odorless, temperatures ranging from 27.70C-28.60C, Ph 6.55, TDS<500mg/L, and DHL 27.2μS/ m-227 S/m.
