Abstract
The research location is located in the Muara Silaya Village area and its surroundings, Kampar Kiri District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Geographically, the research area is located between 00°00'1.00''- 00°03'20.00'' South Latitude and 100°58'20.00''- 100°58'20.00'' East Longitude. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the area of flow patterns in the research area, how the state of geomorphology in the research area, how the relationship between geomorphology and rock lithology research, and how the relationship between geomorphology and stratigraphy of the research area. There are 2 geomorphological units in the study area, namely: Slightly Steep Structural Hills Geomorphology Unit and Denudational Sloping Lowland Geomorphology Unit. The flow pattern in the research area is rectangular. The relationship between geomorphology and geology of the research area is in the structurally steep agar area dominated by sandstone units and conglomerate units. The Denudational Sloping Plain is dominated by Non- Carbonated Claystone and Carbonate Claystone Units. The watershed in the research area is divided into 2 watersheds, namely the Kampar watershed and the Siak watershed. 5. Relationship between rainfall and watershed If the intensity of rain is high, it will fill small rivers (orders) in the watershed and will continue to flow downstream. Large watersheds will be able to accommodate rainwater / rainfall which is quite large (volume). So that the river discharge will also be faster and the supply of material in this watershed will be more diverse. However, the Siak and Kampar watersheds are large and elongated watersheds. It is less likely for runoff or flooding to occur when rainfall occurs.
