Abstract
Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources such as mineral resources, oil and natural gas. One of the potentials in Sungai Paku Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province is mineral resources in the form of gravel excavation materials. The usefulness of sirtu in general as a building material, cast concrete material, mixture in road paving work and many other uses Research area is mining license CV. GAGAS GEMILANG which has a land area of about 29.36 Ha. This study is intended to calculate sandstone reserves using the Cross-sectional and Contour Methods, which from the results of the calculation of resources and reserves can determine production targets, and mining methods and can estimate the time required for the company to carry out mining activities. The data used to support the calculation of reserves are Geological Investigations, Geoelectrical Investigations, and Test Wells. Based on the calculation of the sand sediment resource (sirtu) using the cross-sectional method with gradual of change, a volume of 2,358,256.25 m3 is obtained, and using the contour method with gradual of change, a volume of 2,509,911.25 m3 is obtained. The total volume of reserves is 2,007,929 m3 referring to the Indonesian National Standard on Classification of Resources and Reserves (SNI 13-4726-1998 and its amendments 13-4726-1998/AMD I:1999) then the estimation results have a geological confidence level at the measured resource level, and has a geological confidence level of proven reserves.
