Abstract
ABSTRACT STRATEGY IN COLLECTING AND MANAGING WAQF FUNDS AT BRANCH OFFICE OF AKSI CEPAT TANGGAP (ACT) AT PEKANBARU BY RONA ELVIRA 162310024 Waqf is an Islamic religious institution that had a direct functional relationship with effort to solve social and humanitarian problems, such as alleviating poverty and empowering ummah economic. This research was conducted at ACT Pekanbaru, one of humanitarian organization that collect and manage waqf funds at Riau Province. The research question clarified about how the strategy in collecting and managing waqf funds at ACT Pekanbaru. Meanwhile, the purpose of this research was to know the strategy in collecting and managing at ACT pekanbaru. The theoretical frameworks were used in this research explained the strategy in collecting and managing waqf funds consisted of direct fundraising and indirect fundraising, also management strategy, waqf funds. ACT managed the funds based on management function, namely; planning, organizing, actuating and monitoring. This research was qualitative research. The population in this research was head of ACT branch office Pekanbaru. Data collection technique in this research used observation, interview, and documentation. The data collected had been analyzed by qualitative descriptive theory and it used data reduction, data presentation and taking conclusion. According to the result of data analysis in interview with the head of ACT Pekanbaru, it could be concluded that strategy in collecting waqf funds used direct collecting and indirect collecting method, meanwhile strategy in managing waqf funds used management function such as planning, organizing, actuating and monitoring. The suggestion to ACT Pekanbaru from researcher was to be more active in socialize the waqf program and the product of waqf, and provided a broad understanding and awareness to society
