Abstract

Over the last decade the number of motorized vehicles in Indonesia has continued to increase. The increasing number of vehicles requires the availability of balanced fuel oil. Pertamina as the provider and distributor of fuel oil in Indonesia distributes fuel oil through Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU). However, even though the number throughout Indonesia is more than 7400 units, this figure still cannot reach remote areas. Because of this, the community took the initiative to sell retail fuel, with the aim of making it easier for motorized vehicle drivers to get fuel oil closer. However , retail fuel oil sellers have problems in doing the dosing . Starting from the measurement that is less accurate, safety is not guaranteed, the decline in fuel quality and can only buy with a certain amount. Therefore, we need a tool that can facilitate the measurement of fuel oil and more accurately. This tool will use an Arduino Uno-based microcontroller and a YFS401 waterflow sensor as input devices. The tool will be integrated with a 16x2 lcd screen and a 4x4 keypad for data output and input. The error level testing stage is carried out using 4 parameters, namely Air, Premium, Pertalite and Pertamax Turbo. The results show the average accuracy of the dosing tool on water parameters is 3.08%, the average accuracy of premium dosing is 60.07%, the average accuracy of pertalite dosing is 56.33% and the average accuracy of Pertamax turbo dosing is 80.95%. Overall, the average accuracy of the measuring tool with these 4 parameters is 50.10%
