Abstract

UTILIZATION OF WHITE OYSTER MUSHROOM MEDIA WASTE AS COMPOST AND PROVISION OF PEARL NPK 16:16:16 ON THE GROWTH AND RESULTS OF OKRA PLANT (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moenc) ABSTRACT Hendri Lesmana (164110316) researched the Utilization of White Oyster Mushroom Waste Media as Compost and Giving NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 to the Growth and Yield of Okra Plants (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moenc). The research was conducted at the Ma'had Al-Munawwarah Dormitory, Riau Islamic University, for 4 months starting from January to April 2020. The aim of the study was to determine the interaction effect of giving white oyster mushroom waste media as compost and giving NPK pearl 16:16:16 to okra plant growth and yield. The research design used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, where the first factor was oyster mushroom baglog compost (N) consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely N0: without treatment, N1: 250 g / plot, N2: 500 g / plot, N3: 750 g / plot. The second factor is NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 (R) which consists of 4 levels, namely R0: without treatment, R1: 6.25 g / plant, R2: 12.5 g / plant, R3: 18.75 g / plant. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight, number of residual fruits. The treatment of oyster mushroom baglog compost and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 interaction significantly affected the fruit weight observations. The best treatment was compost 500 g / plot and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 12.5 g / plant (K2N2). The main effect of oyster mushroom baglog compost has a significant effect on flowering age, harvesting age, and fruit weight. The best treatment was baglog compost dose of 750 g oyster mushroom / plot. The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer has a significant effect on fruit weight. The best treatment is NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 dosage 12.5 g / plant
