Abstract

, Application of Titonia Compost and Coconut Coir Liquid Waste in Increasing Sustainable Growth of Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana). This research has been conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, for 5 months from October 2019-February 2020. The purpose of this research is to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of titonia compost and coconut husk liquid waste in increasing the growth of stevia plants. sustainable. In the research of stevia plants, using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of two factors. The first factor is titonia compost (T) consisting of 4 levels, namely 0.5 kg / plot, 1 kg / plot, 1.5 kg / plot and the second factor is liquid waste of young coconut husk (S) consisting of 4 levels, namely 0.100 ml / plant, 200 ml / plant, 300 ml / plant in order to obtain 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications. The parameters observed were harvest age, number of branches, number of leaves, leaf wet weight and leaf dry weight. Data were analyzed statistically and continued with the Honest Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction between titonia compost and coconut husk liquid waste affected the harvest age, plant height, number of branches, wet weight and dry weight. With the best treatment combination, titonia compost application of 1.5 kg / plot and dosage of coconut husk liquid waste 200 ml / plant. The main effect of titonia compost was significant on all observed parameters with the best treatment at a dose of 1.5 kg / plot. The main effect of coconut husk liquid waste was significant on all parameters of the observation with the best treatment 200 ml / plant.
