Abstract
The underlying problem of this research is still low level of public knowledge, especially in Riau Province, in the process of complaints of violence against women and children. The indications are that many people do not report incidents of violence experienced by women and children, the number of people who make complaints tends to be small and the increase in the number of acts of violence is increasing. The low level of community satisfaction with the quality of service for complaints of violence agains women and children is assumed to be on of the factors that underlie the low intention of the community in making complaints. This type of research is quantitative study using a scale used is the scale of service quality and the scale of community satisfaction, where the sample used is the people who make complaints at the UPT PPA Riau Province as many as 60 people who are taken by quota sampling technique. Based on the results of data analysis using the Speraman’s rank correlation technique, it was found that the correlation coefficient (r) was 0.661 whit a significance (p) of 0.000 (p<0.01). it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between service quality and community satisfaction. In Riau Province as users of complaints of violence against women and children at UPT PPA Riau Province.
