Abstract

This study aims to determine the aesthetic value of the Bi Production Studio, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The research method is descriptive analysis using qualitative data collection of data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this research were 3 people consisting of 1 leader and choreographer of the bi production studio, 1 musician, and 1 dancer. The research took place at the Bi Production Studio, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The theory used in this research is The Liang Gie (1996: 49). The data analysis technique used in this research is data collection, data reduction, display or presentation of data, drawing conclusions and then verification. The joged betingkah dance is a creative dance, this dance is performed in pairs with a duration of almost 6 minutes. This dance has been given a touch of creativity and is often performed at various regional events and community entertainment. In joged dance, this behavior has aesthetic value or is also called the value of beauty. In every joged dance movement, there are aesthetic values such as the unity of the unity value in the joged dance, acting clearly can be seen from the movement, the music accompaniment, the dress and make-up, the harmony between the music and the dance movements must be in line with each other, between the two of them are interrelated or dependent. , the ketangkupan in this acted joged dance is carried out in pairs where the male and female dancer are doing movements facing each other and side by side between the two with the same position between the left and right, the balance in this act of joged dance is in the element of motion in which there is motion Meaning and pure motion and resistance in joged behaving can be seen in the silat movement, where in the silat movement male dancers use silat movements that are sharp and strong power. The movements in the joged dance act like mengenceh movements, silat movements, pair movements and lovebirds. The costumes used on female dancers are wearing a laboh kebaya dress, wearing a characterless make-up, and wearing a bun and decorative flower head. while the male dancers wore a belanga bay dress, wore a skullcap, brooch, songket and shawl, with make-up only using powder.
